as well as all purchases, interactions, and services offered through it. By

5. Pricing, Payment, and VAT
5.1. All prices are listed in
South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
5.2. Full payment is required before dispatch or collection of any goods,
unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.3. Accepted payment methods include EFT, PayFast, and (where applicable)
in-person payments via cash or card at our Port Elizabeth warehouse.
5.4. PayFast transactions incur a processing fee, which will be reflected at
checkout.
5.5. You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
5.6. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if payment is not
received or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
6. Order Confirmation and
Acceptance
6.1. Acceptance and completion of
the sale occur only once payment has cleared and the goods have been
dispatched.
6.2. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order due to stock
unavailability, pricing errors, administrative errors, or suspected fraud.
6.3. In the event of a cancellation, any payment received will be refunded in
full should unless admin or courier charges have already be partial or fully
actioned..
7. Shipping and Delivery
7.1. We deliver throughout South
Africa using reputable courier partners.
7.2. Delivery timeframes vary depending on product availability, location, and
courier schedules. Estimated delivery times provided on our website are for
guidance only and not guaranteed.
7.3. Once your order is dispatched, tracking details (where applicable) will be
provided.
7.4. Ownership (title) of goods passes to you once full payment has been
received.
7.5. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once delivery is confirmed at your
chosen address.
7.6. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery details provided are
accurate and accessible. Any failed deliveries due to incorrect information may
incur additional fees.
8. Returns, Refunds, and
Exchanges
We comply with the Consumer
Protection Act (CPA) and strive to make your shopping experience fair and
transparent.
8.1. You may return most items
within 7 days of receiving them, provided that:
The item is unused, in its
original packaging, and in new resalable condition. An engraved battery is
considered as used.
Proof of purchase is provided.
8.2. Certain items, including
electrical components, consumables, or special-order products, are not eligible
for return unless defective.
8.3. For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, please contact us at Lindsay@mal.solar within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the product
where possible and a description of the fault.
8.4. Once your return is approved, you may choose between a replacement, store
credit, or refund (processed via the original payment method).
8.5. Refunds are processed once the returned goods have been received and
inspected. Allow up to 10 working days for funds to reflect.
8.6. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return
is due to our error or a defective item.
9. Warranties and Liability
9.1. Products may carry
manufacturer warranties, which vary by brand and product type. Warranty claims
are subject to the manufacturer’s policies and procedures.
9.2. MAL Group shall not be held liable for indirect, consequential, or
incidental losses arising from the use or inability to use our products or
website.
9.3. Our total liability to you will not exceed the total value of the item
purchased.
9.4. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect
installation, or unauthorised modification.

12.1. We may from time to time
offer bundle deals for sale under the Bundle Deals tab on the Website (“Bundle Deals“).
Each Bundle Deal will consist of two or more products that either we or you (as
provided on the Website) have combined together in a single bundle.
12.2. Any saving or discount resulting from purchasing a Bundle Deal instead of
its component products separately may be applied to any of the component
products individually in our sole discretion. The actual purchase price (after
applying any applicable saving or discount) of each component product will be
communicated to you upon checkout and reflected in your order history. This is
relevant to the amount that would be refunded to you, if you were to return any
product in a Bundle Deal for a refund, in accordance with our Returns Policy.
