The TecMate CarbMate is a compact, cost-effective electronic carburetor and throttle-body synchronizer designed to replace fragile mercury stick tools. Featuring rugged solid-state construction, CarbMate delivers highly accurate vacuum comparison without the risk of breakage, making it ideal for motorcycles, marine engines, small aircraft, and other multi-carburetor or throttle-body engines.

Using a precision industrial/medical-grade Motorola pressure transducer, CarbMate compares and displays vacuum intake differences between two manifolds on a single 9-segment LED bargraph. A central green LED indicates perfect balance at the selected accuracy—ensuring optimal engine smoothness and performance. The resolution is adjustable between 2 cmHg and 0.5 cmHg, with 0.5 cmHg recommended by OEMs for motorcycles and marine engines. A manual zero adjustment allows users to fine-tune calibration before syncing.

The system supports synchronization of 2 cylinders as standard, with expansion options for 3 or 4 cylinders using available adapter kits. Designed for reliability in shop or field conditions, it operates on 12V DC (11–15V), drawing power directly from the vehicle battery using a 2-meter cable with battery clips. Housed in a durable ABS case with fuel- and oil-resistant polycarbonate labeling, CarbMate is well-suited for harsh environments.

It’s also recognized by aviation professionals and approved as a recommended tool by ROTAX aviation’s official club, with optional ROTAX-specific kits available.
