The OptiMate Solar DUO TM‑522‑D1TK is a solar-powered, fully automatic battery maintenance system designed for reliable, year-round care of 12 V lead-acid and 12.8 V LiFePO₄ (4‑cell) batteries. Tailored for off-grid setups, trailers, boats, cabins, motorcycles, and remote equipment, this kit combines a smart charge controller and a compact 10 W solar panel for continuous, "fit-and-forget" power management.

During daylight, the system provides up to 0.83 A continuous charging with 3–5 A pulse bursts to support battery recovery from low voltages (from 4 V). When solar input drops, it automatically switches to smart monitoring mode, periodically testing battery voltage and maintaining it without unnecessary drain. It supports flooded, AGM, GEL, EFB, and LiFePO₄ batteries, and includes self-protection against reverse polarity, sparks, and faults, while consuming under 0.5 mA in standby.

Both the controller and solar panel are IP54-rated and operate in temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +40 °C. The kit includes a rugged 10 W panel with mounting hardware, a 2 m DC lead with an SAE connector, and fused ring/contact clips. It can maintain batteries up to 240 Ah (lead-acid) and approximately 80 Ah (LiFePO₄), making it ideal for remote or infrequently used energy systems. A 3-year limited replacement warranty ensures long-term dependability.
