The OptiMate Solar DUO TM‑522‑D1 is a 24/7 solar-powered charge controller and battery monitor designed for 12 V lead‑acid and 12.8 V LiFePO₄ batteries. Ideal for outdoor vehicles, boats, cabins, and remote battery systems, it delivers fully automatic, solar-powered maintenance without user intervention
By day it charges using a polycrystalline solar panel, supplying up to 0.83 A average with 3–5 A pulse bursts (for the 10 W panel included). When sunlight fades, it switches to monitor mode to periodically display the battery’s state of charge and prevent over-discharge. It works with flooded, AGM, GEL, EFB lead‑acid batteries and 4-cell LiFePO₄ packs, reviving batteries from as low as 4 V
This system includes a weatherproof controller that can be mounted near the battery and a rugged 10 W solar panel tailored to withstand outdoor conditions. It features spark-free design, polarity protection, low standby current (<0.5 mA), and auto shut-off on fault or disconnect
