The OptiMate Solar DUO TM-522-D2TK is an advanced solar-powered battery charging and maintenance kit designed for 12V lead-acid (flooded, AGM, GEL, EFB) and 12.8V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄, 4-cell) batteries. This all-in-one travel kit is ideal for use with motorcycles, vehicles, boats, trailers, cabins, and other off-grid or seasonal battery systems.

The system includes a high-efficiency 20W polycrystalline solar panel paired with a fully automatic smart charge controller. During daylight hours, it delivers up to 1.67A continuous charging current with pulse bursts of 3–5A, capable of recovering batteries from as low as 4V. At night or in low light, it switches to monitoring mode, displaying battery voltage status every few seconds while consuming less than 0.5mA in standby.

This smart charger follows a 6-stage charging and maintenance program including recovery, bulk charging, optimization, and intelligent float maintenance. It automatically adapts to both lead-acid and LiFePO₄ chemistries, providing safe, efficient battery care without overcharging. Built-in safety features such as spark suppression, reverse polarity protection, and automatic shutoff offer added reliability.

The kit includes a 2-meter cable with SAE connectors, fused battery leads with interchangeable clamps and ring terminals, suction cup mounts for flexible solar panel positioning, and a convenient travel storage bag. The weather-resistant IP54-rated controller and panel are built to operate in extreme conditions, from –20°C to +40°C, making it perfect for remote environments and harsh climates.
