The OptiMate Solar DUO TM‑522‑D2 is a professional-grade, fully automatic 24/7 solar charge controller and battery maintainer designed for outdoor battery systems. It integrates a 20 W polycrystalline solar panel with a rugged, weatherproof smart controller. Ideal for maintaining 12 V lead‑acid (flooded, AGM, GEL, EFB) and 12.8 V lithium‑iron‑phosphate (4s LiFePO₄) batteries on motorcycles, boats, cabins, trailers, and remote systems.

By day, it delivers up to 1.67 A continuous (plus 3–5 A pulse bursts) to maintain or charge batteries from weak states (as low as 4 V). At night or in low light, it switches to smart monitoring, displaying battery status every few seconds and ensuring protection without over-discharge, with standby power under 0.5 mA. The intelligent six-step cycle includes low-voltage recovery, charging, optimization, maintenance, and continuous monitoring.

Built for durability, the controller and panel are rated IP54, operate from –20 °C up to +40 °C, resist sparks, manage reverse polarity, and shut off automatically if a fault occurs. The solar panel includes a 2 m cable and mounting brackets; the controller features a 2 m SAE-equipped cable and includes fused ring terminals and clamp leads. Up to 240 Ah lead-acid or 80 Ah LiFePO₄ batteries can be maintained continuously. The system has a three-year limited warranty.
